Introduction
Northeast of downtown Beijing, adjacent to Wenyu River Park, a low-density low-rise residential community integrating the grace of the prosperous Tang Dynasty with modern craftsmanship is under construction. This is the Wangjing Guoyufu Project developed by Beijing Urban Construction Group. Covering a total area of 39,800 square meters with a plot ratio of 1.4, the project plans 10 low-rise residential buildings of 8 to 9 floors, with a total of 298 households.

PART 01
A Quality Home Requires the Synergy of Premium Materials
In September 2025, the public welfare activity for the "Quality Month" of Beijing's housing and urban-rural development system was held at the site of the Wangjing Guoyufu Project. As one of the projects practicing the "Quality Home" standards, it has set the goal of a "Four-Zero Project" – zero structural defects, zero water leakage, zero exhaust fume cross-contamination, and zero decoration flaws – and established a comprehensive quality supervision system.
Among these goals, "zero exhaust fume cross-contamination", a key indicator affecting daily living experience, imposes specific requirements on the smoke exhaust and ventilation duct system. ABA's integrated composite air duct system has been adopted for this project, contributing to the achievement of "zero cross-contamination" and fire safety.
Why is ABA's Air Duct Suitable for High-End Residences?
For residential projects such as Wangjing Guoyufu, living experience is reflected in various aspects: indoor quietness, air quality, and safety assurance, among others.
ABA's integrated composite air duct is based on the independently developed THE CORAL® Board, featuring an integrated design of structure, fire protection and thermal insulation. Its main characteristics are as follows:

Fire Safety: The product has passed Grade A1 non-combustible material testing, with a fire resistance limit ranging from 0.5 to 3 hours and a thermal conductivity of approximately 0.16W/(m·K). Certified, ABA's fire-resistant air ducts have passed the 3-hour fire resistance and thermal insulation tests in accordance with American and European standards. In emergencies such as fires, it can ensure the operation of the smoke exhaust and ventilation system, gaining precious time for personnel evacuation.
Air Tightness: Traditional air ducts are prone to gaps due to their multi-layer structure and on-site installation processes, leading to air leakage and fume cross-contamination. ABA's air ducts adopt factory prefabrication and on-site assembly, with gap control up to the 0.2mm level and excellent air tightness.
Weather & Moisture Resistance: The inorganic material grants it superior moisture resistance, with free chloride ion content below 0.1%, no efflorescence or pulverization, and a softening coefficient of over 80%. It maintains stable performance during long-term use, reducing subsequent maintenance needs.
Lightweight & High Strength: With a bulk density of about 600kg/m³ and a flexural strength of not less than 18.6MPa, it reduces building loads while retaining structural strength. For residential projects with specific floor height requirements, it creates more possibilities for space utilization.

PART 02
Diverse Application Scenarios of ABA's Air Ducts
ABA's integrated composite air duct system has been applied in various fields, including:
Residential Projects: In response to residents' attention to indoor air quality, the product's excellent air tightness helps reduce the risk of fume cross-contamination between different floors and housing units, ensuring a fresh and comfortable living environment.
Medical Buildings: Operating rooms, wards and other areas in hospitals have high requirements for air cleanliness. The product's Grade A1 non-combustible property complies with the fire codes of medical premises, and its good air tightness helps maintain the stable operation of ventilation systems.
Transportation Hubs: Crowded places such as airports and high-speed railway stations have strict requirements for the reliability of smoke exhaust and ventilation systems. The product's fire resistance limit of 0.5 to 3 hours can ensure the normal operation of smoke exhaust systems in emergencies.
Commercial Complexes: Malls, hotels and other commercial facilities with complex functions have clear code requirements for fire compartments and smoke exhaust systems. The product's fire performance and structural stability can meet the safety and durability needs of such complexes.
Industrial Plants: Suitable for industrial environments with specific requirements for fire rating and weather resistance. The Grade A1 non-combustible property complies with factory fire codes, the moisture and corrosion resistance adapts to possible temperature and humidity changes in plants, and the lightweight and high strength characteristics help reduce building structural loads.
From airports and hospitals to industrial plants and residential projects, ABA's integrated composite air duct system is serving a variety of building types, providing professional support for ventilation and fire protection in different spaces.
