Introduction:
As the construction industry strides toward low carbon, intelligence and high efficiency, Gu Xiao, CEO and Founder of ABA New Materials Group, was invited to attend the 2026 Industrial Project Roadshow and Signing Event hosted by Zhejiang Construction Group. Centering on the two core competencies of Building Passive Fire Protection System and Modular Component System, he systematically shared the technical implementation paths and scenario-based solutions with investors and industrial partners. This was more than a showcase of achievements, but an in-depth dialogue on the intrinsic safety and sustainable operation of buildings.

1.Integrate into the Industrial Ecosystem and Respond to Transformation Demands with Systematic Solutions
Zhejiang Construction Group is transforming from a traditional constructor into a "Quality Life Operator", with building safety and construction efficiency serving as the key pillars of its strategic upgrading. Taking the independently developed A1-class non-combustible material – THE CORAL® Board – as its core platform, ABA has built a multi-dimensional product system covering fire protection, sound insulation, environmental protection and prefabrication, accurately meeting the diverse scenario demands of public buildings, urban renewal, high-value spaces and other application scenarios.

2.Safe, Efficient and Sustainable: Dual-Drive of Building Passive Fire Protection System and Modular Component System

In the field of passive fire protection, ABA has developed a full-chain system of solutions covering curtain wall interlayer sealing, steel structure fire protection cladding, fire-fighting air ducts, and high-performance fire doors. All products have obtained A1-class combustion certification, with a single panel fire resistance limit of more than 4 hours and smoke generation toxicity reaching the highest safety grade AQ1. Compared with the problems of easy peeling and short service life of traditional fire retardant coatings, our dry-construction fire protection cladding system enables factory prefabrication and on-site installation, featuring higher stability and lower maintenance costs. At present, this system has been applied on a large scale in a number of national key projects and boasts a high degree of replicability.
If the fire protection system is the "safety foundation" of a building, then modular components are the "power engine" for achieving efficient construction and green operation and maintenance. Leveraging the light weight and high strength properties of THE CORAL® Board, ABA has developed prefabricated products such as modular lightweight partition walls, integrated bathrooms and modular fire-resistant steel walls, which fully support integrated design and production. In environmentally sensitive places such as schools and hospitals, dry construction significantly reduces dust and noise; in rental housing and talent apartments, partition walls can be quickly demolished, altered and reconstructed, improving installation efficiency by more than 50%; in office buildings and industrial parks, the repeated disassembly and assembly rate of components reaches 70%, truly realizing resource recycling.
3.Scenario-Based Innovation: From Products to "Systematic Solutions", Co-Build a Robust Industrial Ecosystem
At this event, ABA not only focused on products themselves, but also emphasized the capability leap of the "Product + Scenario Solution" model. We believe that the true value of technology lies in the precise adaptation and systematic integration for specific scenarios. From fire evacuation passages in hospitals, to asset protection in data centers, and then to modular and rapid renovation in urban renewal projects, every technology of ABA addresses a concrete and real pain point in building safety or construction efficiency.
ABA does not merely supply materials, but also provides a replicable and scalable building safety standard system; we do not only manufacture components, but also output a low-carbon, intelligent and efficient prefabricated construction model. Through cooperation with industry leaders, research institutions, design institutes and other stakeholders, ABA is driving the standardized, intelligent and branded development of building passive fire protection and modular technologies, providing a verifiable successful path for the high-quality transformation of the construction industry. We look forward to working with more ecological partners to co-build a robust, sustainable and efficient new industrial ecosystem amid the wave of transformation and upgrading in the construction industry.
